Hardy Brown Chain

Hardy B. Chain, 90, of Weatherford, died Tuesday June 5, 2007 in a Fort Worth nursing home. Born August 28, 1916 in Mississippi, he lived in Bastrop, LA before moving to Parker County. Hardy was a local crane operator and he loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois Chain in 2003, and a daughter Nelldean Farmer.     Hardy is survived by his daughters, Bobbie Shirley and husband David of Weatherford, Joyce Houston and husband Don of Azle; sister, Dorothy Choate of Rolling Fork, Mississippi; brother, Carl Chain of Bastrop, Louisiana; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Graveside service: 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 7, 2007 in Annetta Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
