Gracie G. Carter

  Gracie Gertrude Carter, 91, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, July 5, 2006, in a local nursing center. Born July 13, 1914, in Madisonville, Texas, a resident of Parker County for many years. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.   

  She is survived by: daughters, Gracie Pruitt of Keller, Wynell Shipley and husband, Leon of Fort Worth; sons, Ray Carter and wife, Judy of Weatherford, and Charles Carter of Houston; 10 grandchildren, and12 great grandchildren.    

  Visitation: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

  Graveside service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 10, 2006, in the East Greenwood Cemetery.
