Grace Phillips

Born January 13, 1928, in Clyde, Texas; passed away October 17, 2021. Grace is predeceased by her husband, Paul Phillips, and her two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her three children, son Vincent and wife Meggan, Bakersfield, CA; daughter Barbara and husband Michael, Canton, NY; and daughter, Karen, Austin, TX; 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Grace received her Bachelor’s degree from McMurry University and a Master’s degree from TCU.
She was a career elementary school teacher and nurtured many young students in her lifetime. Married 64 years, Grace and Paul’s devotion and love for each other was nonpareil. The family thanks all who showed their extraordinary kindness and caring during her life, including Susan Merryman, Lisa Woods Holcomb, Betsy Oldham, Marian Perkins, Laura Harwell, Darla Jones, Linda and Dwayne Dolney, and Sherry and Jerry Clinton.
