Gloria Aline Childs

  Gloria Aline Childs, age 83, of Weatherford, died on Monday, October 20, 2008, at her residence. Born November 18, 1924, in Houston, Texas, a resident of Weatherford for several years, she was a retired retail sales clerk, homemaker a Baptist and she loved crochet and was a movie buff.  

  Gloria was preceded in death by two sons, Curtis Williams and Leighton Dennis.   

  She is survived by her daughter, Leville “Jeanne” Chamberlain of Weatherford; sons, Ruche “Skip” Dennis of Weatherford, Darryl Dennis and Beth of White Settlement and James Dennis and Nelda Bell of Weatherford; sister, Avis and Darrell Landmesser of Troy, Michigan; 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. 

  Memorial Service: 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2008, in the Zion Hill Community Center.
