Glenys Marie Magee

Mrs. Glenys Marie Riddle Magee. Born September 16, 1928 in Bethel, Texas died July 7, 2012 in Bryan, Texas at 83 years of age.  She is remembered as a loving, supportive and giving wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She was a dedicated teacher in the Texas Public School System for over 42 years before retiring in 1992. She began and ended her teaching career in Weatherford, Texas after graduating from Texas Women's University.  Her dedication to helping the youth of Texas excel included schools in Mertzon, Caldwell, McKinney, and Plainview. Honors included Teacher of the Year in Weatherford Independent School District.  She and her husband, Robert Clifton Magee were active members in the South Main Church of Christ for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband - Robert Clifton Magee, three brothers - Thomas Edward Riddle, William Robert Riddle, and William Holton Riddle, and one sister - Bobbie Ester Riddle Johnson. She is survived by two sons - Robert Riddle and Debra Magee and Chad and Deana Clifton Magee, grandchildren - Erin Renee Magee, Dillon Marsh Magee, Colton Blaine Clifton, Reagan Nicole Magee, and Logan Kaye Magee, and one sister - Carol Riddle McDaniel.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews all of whom she loved very much.

Viewing will be at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel Tuesday July 10, 2012 at 6-8 P.M.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday July 11, 2012 at South Main Church of Christ at 2:00 P.M. and burial at Tin Top Cemetery.
