Glenda Joyce Jones Reynolds

Glenda Joyce Jones Reynolds, age 69, of Weatherford, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Reynolds was born October 5, 1943 in Clovis, New Mexico. She married Jerry Reynolds on February 12, 1965 in Lovington, NM. Glenda was a retired administrative assistant for Weatherford College, member of South Main Church of Christ, attended Monday for the Master and Wednesday night singers, participated in Mission Printing and Sister to Sister, she loved to watch Weatherford College basketball and was a member of the Booster Club. Glenda attended Lubbock Christian University and sang in the acapella choir. She was baptized in 1955 and has been a faithful Christian for 58 years. Her father; Floyd Young, mother, Ruby Bowman Young Jones, Uncle A.L. Hahn and adopted father, Elmer Jones precede her in death.
 
Survivors: Husband; Jerry Reynolds of Weatherford, daughters, Jerri Ann Priest and husband Kenny of Fort Worth, Shannon Stone and husband Paul of Weatherford, Shelly Hall of Waco, Suzanne Ritchey and husband John of Weatherford, sister, Teresa Smith of Clovis New Mexico, aunt, Imogene Hahn of Marble Falls, Texas, fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013
at South Main Church of Christ. Interment in Memory Gardens. Visitation
6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Galbreaith Pickard. 

In
lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to
Weatherford College Foundation Glenda Reynolds Memorial Scholarship Fund
or Lubbock Children’s Home.
