Gerrilyn Janell Brock

Gerrilyn Janell Brock, 71, passed away on February 18, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Gerrilyn was born on May 17, 1947 in Kerrville, TX to the late Nettie Carpenter and Gerald Long. She had three kids, and later married John Brock. Gerrilyn worked in long term care for many years. She was an accomplished artist and an amazing cook. Gerillyn was quite witty, sassy, and determined. Above all, she loved spending time with her family. She was a fun and extremely loved Nana!
Gerillyn is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, George Carpenter.
Survivors include her husband, John Brock; daughters, Dara Elverum (Jeff Allred), and Erin Bruton (Wayne); son, Kelly Elverum (Jody); grandchildren, Casee Dodson (Steven), Joshua Allred (Caroline), Dillon Bruton, Bailey Hickel (Carl), Jacob Chapman, Cassidy Bruton, Bo Elverum, and Bristol Elverum; great-grandchildren, Everly, Dodson and Hayes Dodson; brothers , Nicky Carpenter, Tyson, Forest & Monte Long as well as many loving friends.
