Georgia F. Johnson, 72, of Garland, Texas, passed away Sunday evening , September 13, 2015, at Baylor Health Care Center in Dallas.
Graveside services celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Brown Cemetery in Aledo.
Georgia was born on December 13, 1942 in Baird, Texas.  She was one of five children born to Raymond Victor and Helen Christine Mauldin.  Georgia married Billy D. Johnson on June 9, 1980.   She graduated from Abilene -Wylie High School in Abilene in 1961. Georgia worked for 32 years in medical records at Baylor/Garland Memorial Hospital in Garland, Texas.   She enjoyed out-door activities including camping and fishing and sports including bowling, roller skating, and playing dominos.   Most of all, Georgia cherished time spent with her family – specifically her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 Georgia is survived by her husband Billy; children, Melinda (Mike) Weaver of Garland, Kenneth Edward (Carla) Smith of Prosper, TX, and Stephanie Dea (Chuck) Caskey of Garland; grandchildren, Misty, Cara, Katy, Kelsee, Corbin, Skylar, and Chandler; step-grandchildren, Cory-Ann and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Carly, Cason, Cacey and Scooter; and by her siblings,  Betty Jo Puckett of Lytle, TX, Clydene (Hearshel) Lambert of Weatherford, Wayne (Kay) Mauldin of Bandera, Texas, and Larry (Brenda) Mauldin of Wakefield, Virginia; and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her grandson, Brett Brown.    
 

Graveside services celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Brown Cemetery in Aledo, Texas.
