George Robert Gaston

George Robert Gaston, age 68, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at his home in Weatherford.
George was born August 21, 1946 in Abilene, Texas. He retired from Lockheed Martin in December of 2011 after 45 yrs. of service. George was a cowboy at heart, he enjoyed team roping, being a rancher and cattleman and loved hunting. George is preceded in death by his wife, Pam Gaston and son, Chuck Gaston.
George is survived by his daughters;  Sharon Mills and husband Bubba of Lipan, Ellen Gaston of Lipan, Mary Stennett and husband Ben of Weatherford, brother, Randy Gaston of Chico, grandchildren, Felicia, Candace, Lacreta, Meranda, Ty, William and Emma, great grandchildren, Kaden, Makhala, Alexis, Karson, Kolt, Zoey, Charli, Kieran and Charles, nephews, Shane, Jake, Jimmy and John and many friends. 
 




Visitation 6-8 pm Thursday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford.  Funeral: 11 am Saturday at Elliot Hamil Funeral Home in Abilene. Interment in Elliot Hamil Garden of Memory.
