George Raymond Plowman

George Raymond Plowman, age 77, of Weatherford, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 12, 2012. George was born November 26, 1934 to John Miller Plowman and Mary Ester Hobbs Plowman. He worked 17 years at Southern Airways in Mineral Wells. After Southern Airways closed he worked in Iran as a Helicopter Mechanic for Bell Helicopter and retired from Lockheed. His greatest love was flying Helicopters. George was a loving husband, good to his friends and family and always ready to help whenever needed. His special loves were his grandchildren and he will be missed by everyone.

Graveside service will be held at 2 PM, Monday, July 16, 2012 in the East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford. Visitation will be held 5-7 PM, Sunday, July 15, 2012, at the funeral home.
