Genie Lee Feike

Genie Lee Pack Feike passed from this life February 16, 2016, at the age of 75, from Leukemia. She was born in Stephenville, TX on February 3, 1941 to Gordon Lee and Imogene Thompson Pack. She married Ronny Feike in 1963 and traveled all over the world with him. They had 2 wonderful children: Lee Ann and David. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ for 62 years, presently at South Main Church of Christ, where she volunteered at Monday for the Master and Mission Printing. She made lap quilts for the shut-ins and the nursing homes and had given out over 600 so far. She loved nature and all the beautiful things God made. Her main hobby was gardening but also enjoyed traveling, cooking, sewing, singing, and just being a homemaker. She loved her family and the church. Her latest joy was the birth of their great granddaughter, Kinley Marie. Genie is preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, William Dean; and mother in law, Janey Lorenz.
Survivors include her husband, Ronny Feike; daughter, Lee Ann Havenhill and husband, Richey of Arlington; son, David Feike and wife, Jo Marie of Ponder; grandchildren, Taylor Huff, Dylan Huff, Daniel Feike, Kimberly Moore; great- granddaughter, Kinley Moore; step-great-granddaughter, Ayla Moore; sister, Shirley Jennings and husband Johnny of Ovalo; sister-in-law, Nelda Ginn and husband, Bill of Flower Mound; great aunts, Willie B. Lackey and Maida June Pack; and other aunts, uncles and cousins.


Funeral Service: 10:30am Saturday, February 20, 2016 at South Main Church of Christ, 201 S Main St Weatherford, TX 76086, Michael Lum will officiate.  Interment Lingleville East End Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8pm Friday, February 19, 2016 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Foster’s Home for Children in Stephenville, TX. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
