Gary Ray Turner, age 60. of Weatherford, formally of Arlington died on Thursday, November 23, 2006, in a Fort Worth Hospital.Funeral     2:00 PM Monday, November 27, 2006 at First United Methodist Church in WeatherfordVisitation     2 to 4 PM Sunday at the funeral homeInterment     Memory GardensGary Ray was born November 21, 1946 in Weatherford.  This holiday season we give special thanks for the life of Gary Ray Turner, who passed away unexpectedly on Thanksgiving Day.  Gary was a graduate of Weatherford High School class of ’65, and then attended Sul Ross University and Weatherford College.  Gary Ray was a loving son, husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend.  Gary grew up playing football and baseball and his passion for sports carried him through life, whether it be playing dominos, cards, fishing, golfing with friends, or watching his son and grandchildren on Friday nights.  Gary spent 37 years in the commercial paint supple industry.  At the time of his death he was employed by ICI DULUX Paint Company.  His parents, Sonny and Margie Turner precede him in death. Gary will be missed so much by his children, grandchildren, friends, family and everyone who was touched by his incredibly kind spirit. Pallbearers will be a few of his lifelong friends; Robert Smart Harvey Peoples, Jerry McLaughlin Cliff Golden and Ronnie Box James Hardin.Survivors:  Wife, Cindy Turney of Weatherford; sons, Brad Turner and wife Paula of Springtown and Gary Lynn Turner of Arlington; stepchildren, Kim Fornes and husband Kobe, Tracy Turney of Granbury and Brad Turney of Dallas; grandchildren, Logan, Lauryn. Landry and Jessica Turner; step grandchildren, Keaten, Keller and Kason Fornes; uncle, Johnny Davis and wife Patsy of Canyon Lake; aunt, Bettye Jo Turner of Granbury
