Gary Berten Martin

August 12, 1941 — January 11, 2022

Gary Martin was born in Dallas, TX. He spent most of his life in Fort Worth and graduated from L.D. Bell High School. He enjoyed a successful 38 year career as the owner of MGM & Associates, a national animal healthcare company. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and a former Director of the Texas Longhorn Breeder’s Association. Gary’s family and friends remember him as a great cook and grill master. He welcomed everyone to his and Nancy’s home. He wanted everyone to be happy and well fed. Throughout his life Gary had great affection for Australian Shepherds and they were his constant companion.

Gary was a golfer and traveler. He loved Hawaii and traveled there may times with family and friends, enjoying his time on the links. Gary was quite proud of being a 32nd degree, Mason and valued his friendship with his fellow Masons.

He was predeceased by his parents, Onie and Katherine Martin, brother O.G. Martin, sister Kathy James.
