Evelyn June Gonzalez

Evelyn June Gonzalez, age 90, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022. Evelyn was born November 4, 1931, in San Francisco, CA to Cyril Robinson and Felicitas Salazar. Evelyn loved her family unconditionally and enjoyed every moment of being a mother. Her maternal instinct overflowed to anyone who crossed her path. She was a compassionate, deeply caring person, with a heart of gold. She opened a daycare business in 1979, which she retired from in 2004. Evelyn loved to read, cook, and host family get-togethers. She was a devoted wife and mother.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Christina Theresa Ayala and her son, Stephen Michael Sanchez.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Albert Gonzalez of McAllen, TX; daughters, Sally Ann Lindop of Corona, CA and Kelly Marie Gonzalez of Weatherford, TX; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life for her on September 24, 2022.
