Evelyn Frances Smith, 78, of Mineral Wells, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. She was born February 15, 1943 in Houston, Texas to Cally Cleveland and Ada Mae Vannatta Stem. On April 8, 1960, Evelyn married Charles Vincent Smith. She was a dedicated homemaker, loving wife and mother and a member of Southside Church of Christ in Mineral Wells.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles V. Smith in 2018.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Charles V. Smith, Jr and wife Inga, Sharon Carnley and husband Robert and Donna Smith; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren and her brother, Oran Stem.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N Elm St Weatherford, Texas 76086. A funeral ceremony celebrating Evelyn's life will be at 2:00 pm. Monday, July 26, 2021 at Southside Church of Christ, 1401 SE 25th Avenue, Mineral Wells, Texas 76067, with a graveside committal
