Eunice Bernice Armstrong

Eunice Bernice Armstrong, 85, passed away Tuesday August 12, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones.  Bernice was born September 10, 1928 in Waco TX to Frank and Pearl Preston.  She moved to Tin Top on the Brazos River when she was a young child.  She lived there till she married and moved to Sweetwater TX.  Bernice had 5 children.  In 1965 she moved back to Weatherford permanently.  She worked as a gatherer and candler for a local egg farm.  She also worked at Flamingos Café and the old Wanda’s Café for years.  She was a very loving mother and a loving lady.  She loved life.  Bernice loved and lived for her children, grand children and great grandchildren. 
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and a sister.  She leaves behind her children; Johnny Armstrong, Rose Hillger and husband Ronnie, Tommy Armstrong, Joy Gibson and husband Roy, Molly Holland and husband Steve; family friend Diana Reiser; sister; Rita Stockstill, brother, Charles Lee Preston, grandchildren Tasha Mooney, Amber Madrid and husband Joe, Ronnie Hillger and Shannon Mercier, Dusty Ford and husband Chris, Ryan Armstrong and wife Serena, Colby Armstrong and wife Misty, Darlene Holland, Chad Holland, Carisa Reiser; great grandchildren Madison Mooney, Dawson Mooney, Braylin Dodson, Aubrey Madrid, Weston Ford, Bailey Hillger, Colton Hillger, Alexis Mercier, Ashley Mercier, Tyler Armstrong, Ethan Armstrong, Hannah Landenberger, Makayla Landenberger, and Mackenzie Landenberger.

Graveside service will be Saturday August 16, 2014 at Tin Top Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.  Visitation will be at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel Friday August 15, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
