Ethel Mae Merryman

Ethel Mae Merryman, age 78, of Weatherford, passed away Friday August 7, 2009 at a local hospital. Mae was born November 24, 1930 in Richards, TX to Harry and Annie Hutchins. She leaves behind her loving dogs, Charlie and Rufus, and her bingo buddies. Her first husband, Demmit Currie, son-in-law, Carl Gray, sister, Dealue Hutchins, brother, Howard Hutchins, two grandsons, and one great granddaughter, all precede her in death. Survivors include her husband, Carroll Merryman, daughters; Linda Vann and husband Travis, Ann Grimes and husband Danny, all of Normangee, Nancy Evans and husband Jimmy of Rio Vista, Jackie Clark and husband Ricky of Weatherford, sons; Charles Currie and wife Ruthie of Normangee, Harry Currie and wife Carla of Weatherford, sister, Hazel Holder, brothers; Cornelius and Tom Hutchins, all of Normangee, 18 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2 PM Sunday August 9, 2009 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment will be noon Monday, August 10, 2009 in Wealthy Cemetery in Normangee, TX.
