Eric John Meyer

Eric John Meyer, 44, Joshua Joseph Pierson, 12, and Nicolas James Don Pierson, 11 of Weatherford, passed away Saturday March 7, 2009 in Godley, as a result of an auto accident. Eric was born June 16, 1964 in San Angelo to Dutch and Lyn Meyer. He was an IT architect for IBM and coached for the Weatherford Soccer Association. Eric was preceded in death by his father in 2002. Joshua was born June 5, 1996 in Bryan, Tx. He was a seventh grade student at Tison Middle School, Nicolas was born October 3, 1997 in Galveston, TX. He was a fifth grade student at Mary Martin Elementary School.  Josh and Nicolas were both members of Greenwood Baptist Church and an avid soccer players. The boys are preceded in death by their paternal grandparents; James and Margaret Pierson. Survivors include their parents; Candace Meyer and James Pierson II, siblings; Brandy, Ashley, Jeremiah, Jessica, Jeff, Sara, Anna, James and Mandy Pierson III, Heather and Sarah Elizabeth, maternal grandparents; Don Dickson and wife Joyce, and Karen Smith, four uncles, six aunts, and four nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. Eric is survived by his wife, Candace Meyer, daughter, Sara Kinzey, step daughter, Sarah Elizabeth; mother, Lyn, sister, Lisa Meyer, grandparents; BC and Merle Fogle, two grandsons, three aunts, one uncle, four nieces and nephews, and one great nephew.   A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Friday March 13, 2009 at North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford.
