Emory Idell Stagg

Emory Idell Williams Stagg age 102 of Fort Worth went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2017. Idell was born December 15, 1914 in Oklahoma to Henry and Judy Merworth. Idell worked many long days as a beautician yet still managed to be an active member in Rebecca, Ethiopian Sister and the Eastern Star. She had a full life, loved her family, outlived her best friend and husband OB Williams that she married in Roswell, NM. Idell enjoyed cooking and spending quality time with others.

Idell is survived by her daughter Sherry Waldon of Fort Worth; sons, Carl Stagg, and Bill Stagg both New Jersey, sister Fern Bronaugh of Big Spring; granddaughters Karen Simpson of Fort Worth, Jessica Stagg of New Jersey; nephews Bill Williams, Wayne Williams, Bob Williams, many other relatives and friends.

Idell is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Judy Merworth; husbands OB Williams, George Staggs, and grandson John A. Sellers.

Graveside Service 11:30am Monday, June 12, 2017 at East Greenwood Cemetery. James Plowman will officiate. Visitation 10-11am Monday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
