During that time, he also owned and operated an RV business in Amarillo, TX, before he moved to the DFW area and opened an RV business in Sherman, TX. After his retirement, he and Theresa moved to Donie, TX where he spent his days dabbling in the cattle business, enjoying fishing, and traveling before moving back to Weatherford in June 2020.
