Elton Shelton

  Elton Shelton, age 72, of Weatherford, died Tuesday morning, November 22, 2011 in the local hospital. He was born June 17, 1939, in Colbert, Oklahoma, and was a resident of Weatherford for several years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a cook in many local restaurants, and an avid hunter and fisherman. Elton, the youngest in a family of 17 children, was part of New Hope Baptist Church Family. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

  Memorial Service: 7:00 p.m., Thursday December 1, 2011, in the New Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Curtis J. Jefferson, Jr., officiating.
