Elizabeth Warner

Elizabeth Page Warner entered into eternity at age 96 on Dec. 11, 2021, surrounded by her family in Willow Park, Texas.

She was born March 29, 1925, in Washington, Arkansas, to James Richmond Page and May (Turner) Page. The youngest of seven children, she remained deeply connected to family throughout her life.

A product of the Great Depression, Elizabeth grew up knowing the value of hard work, practicality and self-sufficiency. Her career was spent working for the federal government and she retired after 35 years of service.

In 1955 she married Richard Tabor Warner. Together they created a loving home – based on their strong Christian faith – for their two daughters, Carolyn and Brenda.

She lived an exceptionally long and full life. Hobbies included crafts, playing the organ, square dancing, dominoes, sewing, genealogy, traveling the United States, and taking care of her dog, Russell.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Carolyn Quinn; sisters Jessie Easterling, Mary Wright, Sarah Settlemyer and Louise Walthall; and brothers, Tom Page and J.R. Page.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Brenda Simer and fiancé (Brent Norman); grandchildren and spouses: Torre Quinn (Cassie), Jennifer Blakely (Klayton), Corey Quinn (Lonna), Lauren Simer, Michelle Miller (Tanner) and Lea Simer; great-grandchildren: Declan, Caitlin, Noah and Mason; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel, 4941 I-20 Frontage Rd., Willow Park, Texas 76087, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. A private interment will be at the DFW National Cemetery on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband.
