Edwin Harold Russell, Sr

  Edwin Harold Russell, Sr., 98, of Fort Worth, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at his residence.  He was born January 28, 1917 in Cleburne, Texas. Edwin graduated from Hardin-Simmons University and was a chemical engineer and retired from Celanese Corporation. Edwin was a member of First United Methodist Church in Kingsville, Texas. He enjoyed playing golf, was a Texas champion bowler and later in life enjoyed foot races with his son. 

  Edwin was preceded in death by his brothers, Morris Russell and Dr. E. M. Russell. He is survived by his son, Edwin H. “Hal” Russell, Jr.; sister, Frances Kelley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
