Edward Lee James, 76, died Saturday, April 12, 2008, in a Fort Worth hospital. Mr. James was born April 11, 1932, in Big Mountain, West Virginia, to Orb and Virginia Pearl Wickline James. He was a member of the Warrant Officers Association and Willow Park Baptist Church. Mr. James served his country with distinction in the U.S. Army, one tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam, earning the rank, CW04 Master Aviator.
Catherine James, his beloved wife, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, Edward Lee James, Carlton Glen James, Jeanmarie James-Shelly, Vicky Lynn James and Martin Lee James; grandchildren, Brooke E. James, Leslie E. James, Chad R. French, Jessie L. Everett, Christopher M. James, Bryce A. James, Martin L. James II, Madison C. James and Katie A. James; great grandchildren, Corby, Jacob and Sarah; sisters, Helen, Shirley and Alice; and a brother, Gene Autry James.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at Willow Park Baptist.
