Dustin Iiams

Dustin Karl Iiams, 40, of Weatherford, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 in Weatherford, TX.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M., Tuesday, November 1st, at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, Weatherford, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Christ the King Covenant Church, 2800 Tin Top Rd in Weatherford. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy, Weatherford, TX.
Dustin was born April 15, 1976, in Killeen, Texas, to Bill and Rhonda Iiams. On April 28, 2001, Dustin married the love of his life, Carol Phetteplace. He graduated in 1994 from Millsap High School with honors and went on to attend Letourneau University. Extremely intelligent, Dustin always had a quest for more knowledge. He enjoyed reading SCI-FI, watching Star Wars, following NASA, and the Texas Rangers. He was an expert in computers and technology. Dustin was devoted to his church where he was deeply involved and committed. Most of all, Dustin will affectionately be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, son, and brother.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; parents, Bill and Rhonda Iiams; brother, Devon and wife Sheri Iiams and children, Matthew & Ethan; uncle and aunts, Jimmy and Darleen Dossey and children, Laura, David and Josh; Bobby and Martha Spicer and children, Cliff and Daniel.
Dustin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dwight and Jean Spicer, his uncle Donald Glyn Spicer, and nephew, Seth Iiams.
