Dovie Absher, 95, of Weatherford passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at a local nursing home. Dovie was born April 1, 1919 in Lueders, Texas to Grady and Dora Poston Roberts. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. Dovie was preceded in death by her husband, Don, parents, daughter Diane Creel and son Tony Absher. Her survivors include her son Jerry Absher and wife Thresa of Peaster; grandchildren, Alicia Herr and husband Michael of Corsicana and Jared Absher and wife Amanda of Boerne, Thyra Futrell and husband Lee of Benton, KY, Chayla Hamilton and Greg Davis; four great grandchildren.
