Douglas Berry

January 28, 1927 — March 12, 2012

Douglas Berry, 85, of Weatherford passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at home with his family. Douglas was born January 28, 1927 in Texhoma, Oklahoma to Lee Augustus and Erous Johnson Berry.

Douglas was a barber as a young man. He enjoyed an active lifestyle; camping with his young family and competing in weight lifting competitions. He joined the United State Armed Forces, was assigned to the signal corp. and participated in the occupation of Japan in the early days of World War II.
