Dot Madden

May 2, 1917 — September 26, 2008

Dot Madden, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday morning, September 26, 2008. Dot was born and raised in Mississippi. She married Jack Madden Jr. in 1946, and moved to Texas where she lived in Killeen, Round Rock, and Weatherford. She retired from Civil Service as a Position and Pay Management Specialist at Fort Hood, Texas.  Dot was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Fort Worth where her son-in-law was the pastor. Dot is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and sister, her son, Donald, and her husband, Jack. She is survived by her daughter Jacque Baker, and her husband, Vaughn of Weatherford, and her son, Ken Madden and his wife, Helene of Scottsdale, Arizona. Her four grandchildren were the light of her life, and include: Amanda Baker, Arielle Madden, Lenna Joy Madden, and Micah Madden. Her nephew Van Beckwith and his wife, Tracey, of Dallas and their children Scott and Hannah, and her niece Patti Eastman of Bulverde and her husband, David, her nephew Perry Branyon of Kerrville and his wife, Peggy, niece Joan Branyon of Waco, and her sister-in-law, Yvonne Moak of Mississippi, and dear friends Robert and Virginia Morgan. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Real Man Ministries or to the Building Fund of Christ United Methodist Church, 8231 E. Voltaire Scottsdale, AZ 85260. Services will be held at Couts Memorial United Methodist Church of Weatherford, Texas on Thursday, October 2, 2008, at 4:00 PM. Visitation will be after the service at the church.
