Dorothy Ruth Priddy

Dorothy Ruth Priddy passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013.  Dorothy was born November 16, 1927 to John Thomas and Sarah Melissa Warren Henderson in Millsap TX.  Dorothy was the baby of five children.  She grew up in the Millsap area.  She married Dewitt Priddy in 1959 and together they had a daughter, Stevie.  Dorothy enjoyed playing cards and 42; she loved shopping at J.C. Penney’s and spending time with her family.  She was a proud member of The Church of Christ and spent many years working as a secretary for Acme Brick and Barrier Corporation. 
Dorothy leaves behind her daughter Stevie Johnson, and her husband Donald; granddaughter Lacee Rachelle Akridge; nieces Jackie Woltman, Bettie Gresham and her husband Morris, Joyce Hutson and her husband Cecil, Barbara Licausi and her husband Vito, Drinda Reynolds, Lynn Walden and her husband Tommie, Jane Shulsen and her husband Ted, and Charla Henderson; nephews Ray Nevil and his wife Jessica, Eddie Thomas and his wife Debbie; brother in law Bill Priddy and his children Mark and Melissa Priddy.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dewitt Priddy; sisters Wyvaun Mitchum, Oleta Fern Nevil, Flogene Thomas; brother J.C. Henderson and nephew Jerry Mitchum.
 

Visitation will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford TX, Friday December 27, 2013 from 6-8 p.m.

 Funeral
service will be Saturday December 28, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Galbreaith
Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment at Poe Prairie Cemetery.
