Dorothy Imagene Garrett

  Dorothy Imagene Garrett, age 84, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014, at her home in Mineral Wells. Dorothy was born December 11, 1929 in Gainesville, Texas. She was a retired waitress, a member of the Church of God, she loved quilting and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. 

  Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Phillips.

  Survivors: daughters; Jackie Katz of Oregon, Carol Detze of San Bernadino, California, Verna Narron of Millsap, Texas, and Tena Hatfield-Leggett of Poolville, Texas; son, Daniel Griffith of San Bernadino, California; sisters: LeVita Spiva of California, Clara Bailey of North Carolina, Stella Hull of Mineral Wells and Sally of North Carolina; twelve grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 32 great great grandchildren, and five great great great grandchildren.

  Memorial service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Gospel Life Baptist Church, in Mineral Wells.
