Dorcus Louis Fowler

Dorcus “Granny” Louise Fowler, 86, passed away in Mineral Wells, Texas on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Dorcus was born on January 4, 1936 on the family farm in Jacksboro, Texas to Joy & Clara Fowler.

Dorcus is survived by her 4 children, Paul Joplin of South Hampton, NY, Jerry Joplin of Santa Clara, CA, Terry Joplin of Riverhead, NY and Belinda Joplin Nesmith of Weatherford, TX; sibling, Jerry Fowler of Weatherford, TX; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, Joy and Clara Fowler, siblings, Stella Rogers, Billy Fowler, and Bud Fowler.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Chapel Weatherford, 1826 N. Main St., Suite 100, Weatherford, TX 76088.
