Donald Louis Cranford

On Wednesday, Feb 17, 2021 Donald Louis Cranford lost a hard fight with cancer. Donny, Don, or Donald, a few of the names he was known by, was born in Mineral Wells on April 20th, 1948. He was raised in Perrin and then moved to Stephenville to finish his education and graduate from Tarleton State College. Donald then joined the Military ranks and moved up to be a Major within the USAR. Donald, a man of few words, had a collection of stories that defined his life to his hard work of the land, ranching, military, and in serving as a Mason.

Donald is survived by his former wife, son Andrew Cranford and wife, daughter Sarah Lee and husband, 4 grandchildren, and 5 siblings.

He was predeceased by his mother Marjorie Cranford Yowell and father Donald C. Cranford. 

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
