Donald "Earl" Varnado

A long-time resident of Weatherford, Earl was born in Amite, LA, on September 9, 1929.  He went home to be with Jesus on November 26, 2008 in Ft. Worth, TX at the age of 79.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Dot Varnado of Weatherford; one brother, Kirk Varnado of Louisiana; four sisters-in-law:  Wanda Dinklage, Evelyn Varnado, Janice Varnado, and Faye Varnado; three sons:  Don Varnado of Denton, John Varnado of Weatherford, and Keith Varnado of Decatur; two daughters, Andrea Garner of Denton and Katherine Bradfield of Crowley.  Eighteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren also survive.  He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one sister.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel Weatherford.  A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford, where he was a deacon.  Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Ft. Worth.
