Donald E. Brandes

Donald E. Brandes, 71, of Weatherford passed away Monday morning, February 1, 2010 with his family by his side.  Donald was born October 6, 1938 to Fred Walter and Susie Margaret Brandes.  He was a veteran of the armed forces and a heavy equipment operator.
 
Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Beverly; daughters, Rebecca Blevins, Margaret Talbot and husband Norman, Dorthy McKibben and husband Delbert and Sally Brandes; sons, Donald Brandes, Fred Brandes and wife Nancy and Buz Brandes and wife Reah; 22 grandchildren and 31 great grandchidlren.
 
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Thursday in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
