Donald “Donnie” Lawrence Ray, 54, of Weatherford, passed away unexpectedly early on Thursday, November 3, 2016.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2 P.M, on Monday, November 7, at Willow Park Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be private at a later date.
Donnie was born on April 30, 1962, in Weatherford to Henry and Margaret Ray. He was a truck driver and thoroughly loved his job. Donnie had a zest for life and enjoyed working outdoors. Most of all, Donnie cherished time spent with his family – particularly his children and grandchildren.
Donnie is survived by his wife, Priss; children, Anthony William Ray of Weatherford, Aaron Seth Ray and wife Hannah of Brock, and Anne Ray of Weatherford; mother and step-father, Margaret Secrest and Jerry Eubank; sisters, Sharon Ray and Jennifer and husband Todd Winfrey; brother, Jason and wife Angela Eubank; and by six nieces, a nephew, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Henry Ray and by his grandmother, Gladys Miner.
