Derrell Jay Jennings, Sr.

Derrell Jay Jennings Sr., age 78, passed from this life on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his wife and children. Derrell was born December 16, 1936 in Ranger, TX to Allen and Wilma Jennings. He was a former Heavy Equipment Operator, Truck Driver, and Retired Road Foreman for Parker County Precinct 3.  He had a deep love for his family and he spent his retirement years taking care of the family farm where he raised some livestock and enjoyed watching the wonders of nature around him.
Derrell is survived by his wife, Doris Jennings of Weatherford,  son, Jay Jennings and wife Karen of Springtown, TX, son, Ned Jennings and wife Barbie of Wynnewood, OK, sisters, Fern Green of Aledo, TX, Linda Harris of Early, TX, and Judy Storey of Joshua, TX.
 

 

Visitation will be Tuesday April 28, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Galbreaith Pickard. Funeral  will be 2:00 pm. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
