Dennis Lee Stuhlman

October 17, 1947 — August 8, 2015

Dennis Lee Stuhlman arrived in heaven on August 8, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.  Dennis was born October 17, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA.  His mother immigrated from Nicaragua and his father was from New York.  Both were waiting with open arms to greet Dennis upon arrival in heaven.  As was his half-sister, Arlene.  Dennis spent his early adult years in the Southern California area.  He served in Viet Nam, married and his daughter, Cheryl was born there.  As he developed his career in the PVC Pipe industry, he moved to Northern California, then Sparks, Nevada and finally Texas.  Dennis has lived with his current wife here for 23 years and God blessed them with their daughter, Amy. Dennis was a business partner at Heritage Plastics in Weatherford.  He loved this industry and worked hard to develop both product and people for 41 years.  Having retired last April, God allowed him to enjoy the fruits of his labors with much traveling.  Dennis enjoyed people and socializing, loved his family and dog and was just an all-around good guy.  He loved good food, grilling in his back yard, relaxing at the pool, photography, sudoku, yard work and just spending time with Cathy on the back deck.  He was a member of Bible Study Fellowship and loved learning what God’s Word meant for him.  Dennis had a great love for The Lord and was all about sharing his faith with those he cared about.  Dennis had a very positive influence on everyone who met him.  He will be greatly missed by many.  Survivors:  Cathy Lok Stuhlman, his beloved wife of 28 years.  Daughter, Amy Stuhlman of Fort Worth.  Daughter Cheryl Beerer and husband Ron, with grandchildren Sean and Abbigale of Weatherford.  Mother and father-in-law, Peggy and Gordon Lok of Sparks, NV, brother, John Stuhlman of Long Beach, CA.  There are also eight sister-in-laws, seven brother-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was greatly loved by all.

Celebration of Dennis’ Life – 10:00 AM August 29, 2015 at Trinity Bible Church, 4936 East I-20 Service Road South, Willow Park, TX. Memorials:  Donations in memory of Dennis may be made to Community Hospice of Fort Worth, Center of Hope in Weatherford, or Grace House also in Weatherford.
