Deborah "Debbie" Jordan Tarver

Deborah Jordan Tarver, 70, passed away from this life on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, surrounded by her family. Debbie was born August 5, 1952, in Weatherford, Texas to Buford Eugene Jordan and Mary Jo (Powell) Jordan. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and from North Texas State with a Master's degree in School Counseling. Debbie worked as a school counselor for many districts throughout Texas. Relocating to Weatherford with her husband of 34 years, David J. Tarver, she most enjoyed gardening, hiking, and bird watching, as well as playing with her dogs. Debbie will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Gene Jordan.

Debbie is survived by her beloved husband, Dave Tarver of Weatherford, Texas; mother, Mary Jo Jordan; brother, Gary Joe Jordan; and nieces, Jayme Toolsie and Courtney Rogers; great-nephews, Jordan Rogers and Pearce Rogers; and Abby Tarver (the dog).

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
