David Scott Wakefield

David Wakefield, 53, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at home surrounded by loving family and friends.

David was born in Fort Worth to Robert Wakefield and Joy Morton on April 11, 1958. David was a loving husband, father and dedicated employee of TXU for thirty years. He mostly enjoyed establishing and growing his passion – Wakefield Bucking Bulls.

He is survived by his wife Pam Wakefield of Millsap; daughter Samantha Davis and husband Stan of Stafford, VA; son Jeremy Wakefield of Fort Worth; Stan Wakefield and wife Misty of Bridgeport; daughter Shelby Wakefield of Chico; daughter Lindsey Gonzalez and husband Romeo of Poolville; daughter Jessica Cooper of Brock; four grandchildren, Hudson Gonzalez, Avery Davis, Arabella Wakefield, Jackson Davis; three brothers, Jim Bob Wakefield and wife Vickie; Jay Wakefield; Brian Wakefield and wife Susan; and numerous loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14, at North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford.  Visitation is to be held Friday, April 13, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford.
