Dana Sherylene Murphy

Dana Sherylene Murphy, 70, of Fort Worth, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at her home. All services will be private. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Dana was born March 29, 1947, in Springfield, IL to Robert and Bettye Peterson. She worked for many years at the Fort Worth City Water Department. Dana will affectionately be remembered for her tender heartedness and for her devotion to her family – particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dana is survived by her daughters, Peggy (John) Casey of Weatherford and Brooke (Stephen) McFadden of Alvord, Texas; grandchildren, Amber, Corky, Jason, Tanner, Zach, and Ariel; six great-grandchildren, Sarah, James, Jaxon, Raelynn, Colton, and Braylee; by two brothers, Kenneth Smith and Richard Neely; and by her nephew, Kris and son Noah; and by numerous friends.
In addition to her parents, Dana was preceded in death by her two brothers, Stephen and Michel Peterson.
