Cindy D. Sipes

Cynthia Dian Sipes (Cindy) 67 devoted wife, mother and ninny of Millsap went home to her Lord on Friday, August 6, 2021 surrounded by her family. Cindy was born on December 14, 1953 in Weatherford, Texas to Jackie and Myrtle Wimberley. She was married to the love of her life Gary Sipes on February 12, 1971 and again on February 12, 2003 her wedding day was one of her special memories alone with camping. Cindy was a woman of faith and cherish time spent with her family more than anything. She had a bond like no other with her mom they were really close and best friends. Cindy loved fishing, her husband said she was able to run a trotline better than anyone. She loved 4th of July, Easter and Christmas holidays at home with family dinners. She also enjoyed grandkid and great grandkid makeovers. Cindy loved Elvis Presley his movies, his music, everything Elvis. Cindy always made sure you knew she loved you and told you often. 

Cindy was preceded in death by her father Jackie Wimberly and by her sister, Becky Hamilton.

Cindy is survived by her beloved husband Gary Sipes Sr; her children Amanda (Patti) Sipes, Gary (Hope) Sipes Jr; by her grandchildren, Mariah, Lynzi, Ethan, Lukas, Savannah, Aiden, Aubrey, Myshe, Austin and Leedon; her great-grandchildren, Harper, Hayden, Harrison and Hadley; her mother, Myrtle Wimberley; her brother, Gary Wimberley; and by one niece and 3 nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street in Weatherford. Funeral service will be held at 1 P.M on Thursday, August 12, at Galbreaith Pickard. Burial will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery south of Weatherford.
