Cheryi Shipman

Cheryi Johnson Shipman, 56, of Weatherford, died Thursday, July 21, 2011, in a Fort Worth hospital. She was born Sept. 8, 1954, in Wichita Falls, Texas, and was a resident of Parker County for many years. She was a Baptist. Cheryi was a dedicated employee of Walmart for years until she became too ill to work.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alta and Leroy Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Shipman of the home; daughter, Therese Shipman and fiance, Joe Doyle, of Indianapolis; sisters, Mary of Burkburnette, Donna and husband, Danny, of Rhome; cousin, Gayle of Arlington; a host of nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Kidney Foundation.
