Charles Ray Allen

Charles Ray Allen, 91, passed away on January 21, 2019.

A funeral service will be on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel beginning at 11 am followed by interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Charles was born on February 9, 1927 to Raymond and Re Marie Allen in Childress, Texas. He enjoyed playing guitar and traveling with his wife, Joy. Charles was a devote Christian and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. He wassoft spoken and very kind hearted.

Charles is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Joy Allen; his parents; and daughter, Patricia Taylor.

Survivors include his daughter, Cathy Kuzell (John); son, Chris Gamble (Cheryl); son-in-law, Rickey Taylor; sister, Josephine Bertelli; grandchildren, Stephanie Flores, Timothy Kuzell, Jennifer Jennings, Wendy Coats, RhondaRhodes, Charles Taylor, Richard Taylor, Jerry Taylor, and Kylissa Taylor; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
