Charles Joe Fisher

Charles “Joe” Fisher, 78, of Weatherford, passed away on Friday evening, November 26, 2021, in Fort Worth.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8, Thursday evening, December 2, 2021, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held Friday, at 1 P.M., at the funeral home with burial to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford.

Joe was born on March 10, 1943, in Wichita County Texas to Charles Sherman and Frances Othelia Fisher. He had a passion for flying and helping others manage their aircraft businesses. He was an avid and experienced team roper and had a passion for horses. On August 7, 2021, Joe married Maggie Moran. Together they enjoyed touring the country in their motor home visiting several states including Utah, Arizona, and Montana. Most of all, Joe enjoyed time spent with his family and his special friends.

Joe is survived by his wife, Maggie; his step daughters Andrea and husband Jeff Bartles and Katy and husband Gary Reuter; his step grandchildren, Blake, Evan, and Kendall Reuter; and by his cousin, Martin Cook.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials in Joe's memory may be made to the Pine Hill Pet Cemetery, 3020 US Highway N. Bowie, Texas.
