Charles Edward Brown, age 87, passed from this life to his Eternal Home on Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Weatherford, TX. Charles was born on October 19, 1934, in Livingston, TN to Thomas Clinton Brown and Malissia Neely Brown. Charles was a member of First Christian Church in DeLeon, TX and of Masonic Lodge #275. He was an electrician by trade and retired from Bell Helicopter after many years of employment. He honorably served in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, feeding others, tending to his farm animals, fishing, remodeling/rebuilding -- anything outdoors -- but most of all enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

In addition to his parents, Thomas Clinton and Malissia Brown, Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Sylvia Marybeth Brown, and his 10 siblings - Carlie Brown, Reba Brown Wyrick, Linnie Brown Upchurch, Virgie Brown McAlpin, Willie Brown, Benton Brown, Haskell Brown, Hubert Brown, Lloyd Brown, and Grover Brown.

Left to cherish Charles' memory and legacy are his daughter and son-in-law, Tammera and David Park of Weatherford, TX; granddaughter, Sabrina Coates of Aledo, TX; granddaughter and husband, Brittany and Joshua Medders of Weatherford, TX; great grandchildren, Owen Coates, Isabel Coates, Eli Medders, and Jonah Medders, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at East Greenwood Cemetery, 500 East Front Street, Weatherford, TX 76086.
