Charles "Charlie" Bernard Pittinger

Charles Bernard Pittinger, 92, of Weatherford passed away Friday, June 7, 2019 at his residence. Funeral Mass: 10 am, Wednesday June 12, 2019 at St. Stephen Catholic Chapel, 211 S. Main St in Weatherford with interment to follow at Dicey Cemetery. Charlie was born November 20 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland to Marian and Marie Rothgaber Pittinger. He was a retired engineer and served in the US Navy during WWII. Charlie’s greatest accomplishment was the building of his 75 ft. aluminum yacht that he welded together piece by piece. He is survived by his wife of 49, years, Cindy; sister, Joan; two grandchildren, Susan and Charles III, and two great grandchildren, Allie and Sam.
