Cathy Jane Droste

Cathy Jane Droste, age 67, of Willow Park passed away at home peacefully on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born October 22, 1949, in Justin, to TB Carroll and Mae Belle Cowart Carroll. She taught for the Weatherford Independent School District for twenty years. Cathy was a proud member of the Parker County Retired Teachers Association, the North Texas Chapter Polycystic Kidney Foundation and Annetta United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and friends.
Cathy is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Ronald Lynn Droste; daughter Mendy Rasor and husband James; Grandson Austin Rasor; brother Charles Carroll and wife Debbie; cousin Lynette Crouch and husband Dana. Cathy is preceded in death by her parents and daughter Nicci Droste.

Memorial Service 2:00pm Wednesday December 28, 2016 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Mr. James Plowman will officiate.
The family would like to thank the staff at Vitas Hospice for everything they did for Cathy and her illness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the PKD Polycystic Kidney Foundation.
