Cathy Ann Plowman

Cathy Ann Plowman, age 52, passed from this life Monday, June 22, 2015 at her residence. Cathy was born June 30, 1962 in Dallas, TX. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Nana. Cathy served the community for over 34 years as part of the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel family where she was an Executive Assistant, Insurance Claims Specialist, and a member of the Board of Directors. She was a member of the Oak Ridge Church of Christ and boldly served God in many ways seen and unseen. Cathy will be remembered for her "Comforting Smile" while helping families during difficult times, a shoulder to cry on and as a "Second Mom" to many select softball players. Cathy is survived by her husband, James R. Plowman; daughters, Misty Engel and husband Travis, Angie Hernandez and husband Jose'; she was also Nana to four wonderful grandchildren, Madison, Caden, Tyler, and Cruz; parents, Robert, Sr. and Sue Jay, sister, Nancy Pettijohn and husband Jeff, brothers, Bobby Jay and wife Kim, Frank Jay and wife Belinda; mother in law, Norma Plowman, and numerous other relatives and friends
      


Funeral Ceremony 10:00 am. Friday, June 26, 2015 at the North Side Baptist Church.
Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m  Thursday June 25, 2015 at North Side Baptist Church.
