Cassandra Edith Brown

Cassandra Edith Brown was born March 12, 1963, to the parents of Gwendolyn Louise Brown-Wright and Joe Dale Brown.

She was raised and spent most of her life in Weatherford Texas, and then moved to Dallas, Texas. Cassandra graduated from Weatherford High School and attended Weatherford junior college on a basketball scholarship. Cassandra enjoyed playing sports, she played basketball in school, and always enjoyed playing softball in which she earned many accolades. She worked in the service industry; she loved to help others. She loved her family. She had a special relationship with each one of her nieces and nephews and each have built a special bond with her, but the greatest joy in her life came when her grandson was born.

Cassandra was preceded in death by her mother, Gwendolyn Louise Brown-Wright, and father, Joe Dale Brown, and two sisters, Geraldine and Nancy Etta Brown.

She is survived by: Daughter Cherrell Brown of Dallas, Texas. Grandson Ja’Anthony Brown of Dallas, Texas. Brothers: Joe Brown and Wife Deborah of Weatherford, Texas and William Brown of Florida. Sisters: Shirley Randle of Weatherford, Texas and Cheryl Ray and Husband Lee of Willow Park, Texas. Nieces: Yahna West and Ashlee Ray. Nephews: Joe Randle, Joe Manuel, Devane Clark, Keagan Brown, Nik Lewis, and Anthony Ray. And a host of cousins, and friends.
