Carolyn Louise Morse

November 16, 1933 — January 14, 2021

Carolyn Louise Morse, age 87, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Carolyn was born in Weatherford, Texas on November 16, 1933 to Leonard and Johnie Wilson. She was a secretary at Citizen’s National Bank for many years and most recently worked for the Parker County District Attorney’s Office. She was proud to have never owned a computer or have an email. Carolyn loved nature, wildlife, and watching birds. She loved the Southwest, especially Big Bend, Cloud Croft, and all of New Mexico. Traveling with her late husband, Bill, was something she missed greatly. Carolyn attended the Triple Cross Cowboy Church in Granbury. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Hubbard(Jay) of Weatherford, sons, Mike Cockerham(Sherry) of Mineral Wells, Mark Cockerham(Lorna) of Granbury, and Robert Cockerham(Donna Wilson) of Weatherford, grandchildren, Rhonda Rutledge, Shelly Cordova, David Cockerham, Darrel Cockerham, Penny Clark, Travis Cockerham, Jill Helfrich, Brad Cockerham, Amanda Tippey, Becca Kelley, Lydsey Lane, Jessica Lane, and Mikayla Lane, 13 great grandchildren, brothers, John Wilson and David Wilson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill, of 29 years, her parents, and her brother Kenneth Wilson. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 2:00 PM, in the Peaster Cemetery. There will be an opportunity to view a recording of the service. Please call
